Technical purpose of product or process The AQUAPANEL® Glass-Mat Gypsum Board Outdoor GM-FH1IR type laminated gypsum board is composed of a special gypsum core and a reinforced fiberglass fleece on both sides, colored blue. It is manufactured through a continuous lamination process and in accordance with the EN 15283-1 standard. To facilitate joint treatment, the longitudinal edges are tapered or squared, and the transverse edges are cut. The AQUAPANEL® Glass-Mat Gypsum Board Outdoor is non-combustible, lightweight, resistant to moisture, sunlight radiation, and mold. It is used as a substrate for ventilated facades, ETICS systems (e.g., Knauf ETIKS), and other types of cladding for humid environments. Also, it could be used as cladding for exterior suspended ceilings in semi-outdoor areas. The main characteristics according to the EN standard can be found in the corresponding product datasheet and are as follows: Nominal weight: 11,6 kg/m2 Reaction to fire: A1 Water vapor resistance factor: 10 / 4 (EN ISO 10456) Thermal conductivity: 0,25 W/(m·K) (EN ISO 10456) UN CPC: 3753
