| Technical purpose of product or process | III/A 42.5R/SRC cement is a sulfate-resistant blast furnace cement specially formulated for the production of both mass and reinforced concretes that must withstand aggressive environmental conditions. Thanks to its high compressive strength of 42.5 MPa at 28 days, this cement provides excellent durability and structural capacity. In addition, its formulation includes a significant reduction in clinker content, which helps decrease CO₂ emissions during production, making this cement a more sustainable option without compromising performance. Its resistance to sulfates and seawater makes it the ideal choice for constructions near coasts or in soils with high sulfate content. This cement strictly complies with EN 197-1:2011, which regulates the requirements for common cements, and with EN 80303-1:2017, which establishes the specific requirements for sulfate-resistant cements, ensuring that its composition and properties are perfectly adapted to these conditions. It also complies with the RC-16 guidelines, included in R.D. 256/2016 on cement reception, as well as with the Structural Code approved in June 2021. | ||
