Technical purpose of product or process Nonwoven geotextile needlepunched on both sides and composed of a base of 100% controlled recycled polypropylene fibers. The geotextile undergoes a thermosetting process and subsequent calendering. It is mainly used as protection for bituminous membranes or PVC membranes in tunnels and buried structures. In addition, it fulfills the following functions: - Protection layer: protects the waterproofing membrane from puncturing produced by the soil or the support. - Separation layer: prevents the mixing of particles from different soils. Prevents contact between non-compatible materials. It acts as a permeable barrier between soils of different structure. It is manufactured in different weights depending on the application for which it is intended. The reference grammage of this group of products is 700 g/m2, being an average based on all the products with the same grammage as reference product, certified with CE marking Nº 0099/CPR/A42/0101-0102, in compliance with UNE EN 13249:2001, 13250:2001, 13251:2001, 13252:2001, 13253:2001, 13254:2001, 13255:2001, 13256:2001 and 13265:2001. The product brand included is the following. - GEOLAND MC Technical specifications of 700 g/m2 recycled polypropylene geotextiles range: - Thickness under load 2 kPa: 5.5 mm - Tensile strength Longitudinal: >20 kN/m - Tensile strength Transverse: >30 kN/m - Elongation at maximum load Longitudinal: >70%. - Elongation at maximum transverse load: >70%. - Static punching (CBR): 5900 N - Dynamic perforation 0 mm - Aperture size: 60 μm - Water permeability: 51E-03 m/s - Durability (soils 4 < pH < 9 and Tª<25ºC): 25 years
